Before you let anyone operate on your life
A star rating tells you how someone made people feel. This tells you what can actually be proven about them, one piece at a time, and who is holding back the rest.
Who they are
the person is real and is the person in front of you
Their licence
a register says they may legally do this work, today
Their training
the specialty board that examined them
Their record
discipline, claims, settlements — where these are public
Their volume
how often they do the exact thing you need
Their backing
insurance, hospital privileges, who owns the practice
